Position Summary

Prairie State College seeks experienced Adjunct Faculty to teach Millwright courses starting Fall 2017. Successful candidates will have a desire to engage a diverse student population in various levels of Millwright/Maintenance Studies. Specific courses include Rigging Theory and Application. Instructor will be able to utilize in class book and laboratory exercises utilizing lab equipment and Rigging Technology. Successful candidate will have flexible teaching schedule. Classes meet one day a week for eight weeks; Current section open will be on Monday evenings from 6pm-9:40pm.

Minimum Qualifications

1) Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or Industrial Education with an emphasis in the field taught and three (3) years of successful work experience in the field; or

2) Associate Degree in the field and five (5) years of successful work experience in the field; or

3) Journeyman’s status in the field and seven (5) years of successful work experience in the field.
